We've come a long way since our early days in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It's been an incredible journey filled with highs, lows, and everything in between. From our first album "Americana" in 2006 to our latest release "Have You Seen It All?" in 2026, we've poured our hearts and souls into every note and lyric.
When we started Clockwork Minds, we were just a group of friends with a shared passion for music and a dream of making it big. "Americana" was our love letter to our roots, capturing the spirit of our industrial hometown and the vast landscapes of the United States. Songs like "Clockwork Minds" and "Steel Heart" reflected our experiences growing up in a city known for its steel production.
As we grew up, so did our music. Our 2009 album "Human" saw us branching out, exploring diverse narratives and delving into more personal storytelling. Tracks like "Swinging on Ropes," "Killer on the Run," and "Johnny Flies" allowed us to flex our creative muscles and connect with our audience on a deeper level.
2014 brought "Time," an album that holds a special place in our hearts. It was a period of reflection for us, dealing with themes of aging, success, and the passage of time. This album also allowed us to pay tribute to our dear friend and former bandmate, Derek Addams, who we lost in 2010. "Waves We'd Ride" is our way of honoring his memory and the impact he had on our lives and music.
The years that followed tested us in ways we never imagined. In 2020, Alex lost his son Peter, and the band went silent. Music felt impossible. Alex disappeared for three years, eventually returning with his solo album "Tears in Neverland" in 2023—a raw, personal work born from grief. We reunited later that year to record "The Rain Will Cease," inspired by the conflict in Ukraine, which appeared on our 2024 collection "Lost in the Limelight."
That reunion changed everything. We realized we still had something to say, but it required complete honesty—no costumes, no concepts, no armor. We spent 2025 working on "Have You Seen It All?", released February 1, 2026. This album is us at our most vulnerable, asking the hardest questions about life, loss, and what it means to have truly lived.
Looking back, it's humbling to see how far we've come and what we've survived. The support of our fans through the darkest times has meant everything. As we move forward, we're committed to that same honesty. Music has always been our way of processing the world around us, and whether we're exploring themes of identity, society, or personal growth, we promise to keep pushing ourselves creatively and to always strive for authenticity in our work.
To all our fans, both old and new, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support means the world to us, and we can't wait to share more music with you in the years to come. Here's to the memories we've made and the ones yet to come. The best might not be yet to come, but whatever comes, we'll face it with our eyes open.
